Four Representatives To Attend National Conference Apr. 22â€"28 Four representatives of the Highâ€" land Park Y.W.C.A. will attend the Fifteenth National Convention of the Young Woman‘s Christian Asâ€" sociation of the United States to be held in Columbus, Ohio, April 22â€" 28. Mrg, E. E. Leonard, who goes as the delegate from the Board, represents other interests in the Associatiop as her daughter, Janet Leonard, was last year‘s president of Emanon League. As the sponsor for the joint programs given by all the business girls clubsat the Y for the business and ‘professional women of the community she has been working closely with business girl members of the Association. Mrs. William Howard, president of the Mothers‘ Club, the largest organization within the local Y, and Mrs. Hugo Schneider of the club‘s membership committee, are the offiâ€" cial delegates sent by the Mothers‘ elub. For several years the Mothâ€" ers‘ Club has raised money to send two members. Mrs. E. E. Paulsen and Mrs. H. V. Renner were club delegates to the last convention. The events that eventually led her through the mud of a country lane began April 2 when she filed charges of eruelty to animals through l?- lect against August Hinterberg, 70, of near Lake Forest. Hinterberg made a deal with Anâ€" gelo Menoni of Highland Park to sell, but Mrs, McLaughlin contended $250 wasn‘t enough for eleven cows and Hinterberg, on her advice deâ€" clined to deliver the animals, Menâ€" oni got a replevin writ and trucked the cows to a farm. Mrs. McLaughâ€" lin‘s attorney got a similar writ in a higher court. A deputy seized the cows, but no truck to cart them away was available, so Mrs. Mcâ€" Laughlin, asccompanied by the lawâ€" year and the deputy, followed the cows home on foot. The cows went to bed. Mrs. Mcâ€" Laughlin lingered to say she would fight the case with Menoni in cireuit court at Waukegan, Ill. ,next Monâ€" day. Gen. Peyton Leaves Fort Sheridan For New Hawaiian Post Brig. Gen. Philip B. Peyton, comâ€" manding the 12th infantry brigade at Fort. Sheridan, relinquished his command Monday and left Tuesday with his wife, Mary, and personal aid, Capt. Paul B. Kelly, for San Francisco, Cal. He will sail for Honâ€" clulu next week to assume command of the Hawaiian coast artillery briâ€" gade. > Gen. Peyton will be replaced at Fort Sheridan by Brig. Gen,.
