Gooch, one sister, Mrs. Sam Harâ€" ding, and a granddaughter, Jerry Naomi. Former Highwood Official Dies; To Be Buried Friday Otls S. Gooch, former village atâ€" torney of Highwood and an official of the lilinois Title company, died Tuesday at the Evanston hospital following a major operation. Mr. Gooch was 65 years old and resided at 1020 13th street, Wilmette. During the‘ World War, the deâ€" ceased was in charge of the commisâ€" sary at Fort Sheridan. For twentyâ€" four years he had been a resident of Highwood, previous to his. removal to Wilmette. He was born in Meadâ€" ville, Mo. During his residence in this vicinity, he was active in all eivic affairs, confronting the City of Highwood and organized and helped build the Oak Terrace school. He also served as the city attorney. He was a member of Highland Park Lodge No. 1362, the Knights of Pythias, the Lake County Bar and Illinois Bar associations. Martin, and Mrs. Ray Wible. James McConnell, aged 90, a resiâ€" dent of Highland Park for the past 60 years, passed away Sunday at his home, 227 N, Second street.
