Local Tracksters Win County Meet for Ninth Time Winning the annual County track meet for the ninth time, Highland Park high school broke three recâ€" ords. Highland Park placed first with 55 points; Waukegan, second, 88 points; Lake Forest, 26 points; Libertyville, 18% points; Grant, 18% points; and Barrington, 38 Durment, who set a record last year of 0:28.3 in the 200â€"yd. low hurdles, set a new record this year of 0:22.9. Repholz set a new record of 2:06.3 in the 880â€"yd. run. The froshâ€"soph relay, composed off Rosâ€" enfels, ‘ Bromstedt, Reading, and Fischer, set a new record of 0:47.6. The freshman relay also set a recâ€" ord with Lake Forest. They tied at 0:49.2. Soefker placed first in the mile; Thorsch, first in the 100â€"yd. dash; Harris, fourth in the 100â€"yd. dash; Boone, second in the 120â€"yd. high hurdles; Rompel, first in the 440â€"yd. dash; Harris and Thorsch, second and third in the 220â€"yd. dash; Durâ€" ment and Heath, first and second in the 220â€"yd. low hurdles; and Repholz and Christianson first and fourth in the half mile. The bill has now gone to the house for approval. Highwood now buys its water from the City of Highland Park. The city is cut off from the lake by Highland Park and Fort Sheriâ€" dan. The young lady was married and was living in New York at the time of her sudden death.
