The nicely varied program was of great interest to the parents and friends of the pupils The pupils participating were, Pattie Walters, Naney Ruth Sprou!, Lois Curto, Phyllis Brown, Patricia Siemens, James Siemens, Sophie Donine. Miss Atkinson will be located in Braeside and will open her studio in September. She is a post graduâ€" ate of the Chicago Musical college, having studied with Harold Von Mickowitz, ‘Alexander Raab, Louis Victor Soar, and Rudolph Ganz, She was a member of the faculty for sixteen years. Girl Scout Archers Hold Picnic As Closing Event June 25 The final meeting of the Girl Scout Archers will be a picnic at twelveâ€"thirty on Saturday afterâ€" noon, at 267 East Park avenue. Bring lunch and invite your parents, friends and scout leaders to come with you. Wear your Scout suits. After lunch the girls who have fulfilled the archery requirements will be presented with their merit badges. â€" Miss Katherine Weber earned her award a year ago. Van Geyso Dies Of Heart Attack Frank R. VanGeyso, 58, of 378 Woodlawn road, was stricken with a heart attack last Friday while atâ€" tending a boxing match at the Meâ€" dinah Athletic club. .He died Saturâ€" day at the Presbyterian hospital in Chicago. T HE "P R E 8 8 Mr. VanGeyso was a salesman for the United States Rubber Co., and is survived by his wife Hazel, a son Frank R. Jr., and a sister, Mary, all of this city. Funeral services were held Tues day afternoon at Graceland ceme tery chapel. f Anticipate Large Gathering At Meeting At Moraine Monday A large audience is expected to attend the symposium planned by the North Shore committee of the American Jewish Congress, Monday, June 27, at 2 o‘clock at the Moâ€" raine hotel. Mrs. Arthur Richland is chairman assisted by her coâ€"chairâ€" men, Mrs. Harry L. Canmann and Mrs. Charles Schulmann. The formal meeting will begin at 2 o‘clock promptly and a luncheon will precede the meeting, to give the sponsors, committee members and their friends an opportunity to meet the guest speakers and join with them in informal discussion.
