MARY WOODS WEDDING IS LOVELY AFFAIR Hundreds of Easter lilies flanked the . altar and naive of Trinity church, to form a most beautiful setting for the marriage of Miss Mary Stoval Wood, youngest daughâ€" ter of Gen. and Mrs. Robert E. Wood, and William Stamps Farish, Jr., which took place Saturday aftâ€" ernoon at five o‘clock. . She was esâ€" corted to the altar by her father. The bride has chosen Miss Ethel Mobs to be her maid of honor. Miss Janet Greuel, Miss Verna Mae White and Miss Mildred Wendt will serve as bridesmaids. Like her three sisters who stood before the same altar to repeat their wedding vows, Miss Wood is a traditional blonde. Ske wore a white satin gown with sleeves puffed at the shoulder. Its square neck was edged with a vine of seed pearls and the tiara from which her tulle veil billowed was embroidâ€" ered with pearls in the same design. She carried lilies of the valley. Miss Louise Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miller of 623 Homewood avenue, will become the bride of Mr. Clarence Hawthorne of Waukegan, on Saturday at 8 p.m. _A beautiful ceremony has been planned and will take place mt the Bethany Evangelical church, Any interested friends are invited to the ceremony. ‘The Reverend H. F. Siemsen, the pastor, will read the single ring ceremony. The bride will be given in marriage by her father, Mr. Miller. A brother of the bride, Mr. Merâ€" ele Miller will attend Mr. Hawthorne as best man. Mr. Wallace Mann, Mr. Duglas Frank and Mr. Robert White will act as ushers. A reception will take place in the social rooms of the church followâ€" ing the ceremony. Her attendants with the excepâ€" tion of the two flower girls were dressed alike in white chiffon and they carried sheaths of lilies. They wore large hats of thin white straw. Mrs. James R. Addington (Sarah Wood) was matron of honor and the bridegroom‘s sister Miss Martha Farish was maid of honor. .‘The bridesmaids were, Mrs. Edwin E. Tullis and Mrs. Calvin Fentress, Jr., the bride‘s other two sisters and Mrs. Robert Whitney Wood II, her sisterâ€"inâ€"law. Both carried old fashioned bouquets, A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride‘s parents. After a wedding trip, Mr. Farish and his bride will make their home in Houston, Texas.
