BAILEYâ€"SEAGO WEDDING The marriage of Miss Phyllis Seago and Mr, Temple House Bailey THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 1988 of Altus, Okla., took place on Sepâ€" tember 2 at Hot Springs, Ark., in the Baptist eaurch, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seago came up from San Antonio, Texas, for their daughter‘s wedding, and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Seago of Highland Park also atâ€" tended the wedding. The bride, who studied dramatics at Millikin DEERFIELD LOCALS eollege and at the University of Oklahomma, directed Deerfield‘s Cenâ€" tennial pageant in 1935, and has been teaching in Altus, Okla. The groom is an attorney and a city judge at Altus, where they will make their home. ‘The bride is a member of Pi Beta Phi and her groom is a Kappa Sigma. The Seago family formerly lived in STRYKERâ€"HASKINS NUPTIALS White gladioli and white chysanâ€" themums decorated the altar of the Wilmette Methodist church on Satâ€" urday evening,‘September 10, when Miss Isabel Haskins, daughter of Mrs. R. I. Haskins of Wilmette, beâ€" came the bride of Lewis Clark Stryâ€" ker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Stryker of Deerfield. Edgeley Woodâ€" man Todd of Deerfield gave an orâ€" gan recital preceding the wedding and promptly at 8:30 o‘clock to the strains of Lihengren‘s the bride came down the white, ribbon stretchâ€" ed aisle and was given in marriage by Dr. D. W. Rapp, an intimate friend of the family. Her gown was of heavy white satin, made princess style, with long puff sleeves and a draped neckline. The tulle veil, belonging to her mother, was fastened to a Juliet cap of net and white satin braid. The bride wore a string of pearls, the gift of her brideâ€"groom. For something borâ€" rowed she wore a diamond wrist watch belonging to Miss Janice Coppe of Evanston and Billings, Mont. Her bouquet was of white roses, sweet pess, and valley lilies. Miss Frances Haskins, who was her sister‘s maid of honor, wore a blue satin gown and carried tearose chrysanthemums. Bridesmaids were Georgia Haskins, Frances Rapp and Jane Moore, who wore tearose satin and carried blue chrysanthemums. George Stryker of Norwood Park served his brother as best man. Ushers were Bruce Karnes of Winâ€" netka, George Ashman of Deerfield, Fred Scyphers ‘and Richard Isâ€" mond of Chicago. The bride‘s . mother wore a crushed rose lace gown with a corâ€" sage of roses and the groom‘s mother wore dubonnet silk crepe and a corsage of white roses. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Horace G. Smith, president of Garrett Biblical institute. After a several week‘s trip in the south the young couple will be at home in Deerfield.
