Mrs. Fred Clutton to Address Garden Class Funeral services were held Tuesâ€" day morning from the home to St. James church, Highwood. Interment was in St. Joseph‘s cemetery, Wilâ€" mette. Frank Kolteman, a resident of Highland Park for the past twentyâ€" two years, passed away Saturday at his home, 489 Oakwood avenue. He had been in ill health for the past three years. An improvement in the business section on Central avenue, between Second street and Greenbay road, is under construction. A new sideâ€" walk is being put in by property owners on the north side of the street under supervision of the Street department of Highland Park. The sidewalk will be narrowed slightly to comply with the imâ€" provement which will be made in early spring when the street in this block will be widened to the same width as the balance of this busiâ€" ness section. The sidewalk is also being raised a trifie and the Second street corner widened some. He was born in Evanston, Sept. 17, 1871, and until three years ago had been employed at the city hall as stationery engineer. by Miss Priscilla Carver will read "The Family Portrait." Archduke Felix of Austria to Speak at Sunday Evening Club His Imperial Highness, the Archâ€" duke Felix of Austria, is to speak next Sunday evening on "The Reâ€" construction of Central Europe," beâ€" fore the New Trier Sunday Evening club at New Trier high school, Winâ€" netka. He is the son of the late Imperial Emperor Karl of Austria. His unâ€" cle is the Prince of Luxembourg‘ He is but 23 years old having been born in 1916. He speaks English fluâ€" ently having received his education from private tutors in Spain and Switzerland and at the University of Louvain in Belgium. He was at an officers‘ school in Austria when Hitler‘s legions invaded the country. in this dramatization, and they will represent the various Missionary groups of the church. At the close of the pageant the annual Thank offering for missionary work will be received. All who are present at the Vesper will be invited to remain for a tea which will be served in the social rooms of the church. A very imypressive pageant; enâ€" titled "Highway Builders" will be presented at the Bethany Evangeliâ€" cal church Sunday afternoon at a 4:30 Vesper service. Over 40 charâ€" acters consisting of young people, adults and children will participate Procedes from Book Fair week go to buy new books for the sehool library so every school child will get the benefit of the Christmas shopâ€" ping done at school. Magazine subâ€" scriptions and a resale table of adult and children‘s volumes will alâ€" so augment the fund. The Fair will be open continuously from 9 to 5 each day. Songs composed by Miss June Whitworth of Highland Park were sung by Mrs. Gene Duckett at the program and meeting of Phi Beta, music and arts fraternity, which was held at the Whitworth home on November 8. Mrs. C. R. Whitworth, the composer‘s mother, displayed some of her paintings. These same songs were given again by Mrs. Duckett at a meeting of the Highâ€" land Park Music club on Wednesday at the home of Mrs, Ernest Loeb in Highland Park. Fourteen prizes will be given out during the Tuesday program, inâ€" cluding two grand prizes, one for the contestant winning in the final series, and one for the best set of questions submitted. Each grade from the third to the eighth have written questions on books from which Miss Virginia Newcomb, school librarian, has chosen the best set for each room. A team of eight, chosen in preliminary tryouts will represent each grade participating on Tuesday night. That night there will be three contests, one between the third and fourth grade teams, one between the fifth and sixth, one between the seventh and eighth teams. The winner in each of these groups will be the boy or girl who answers the most questions correctâ€" ly and stays on the stage the longâ€" est. These prizeâ€"winners wil comâ€" pete in the final tryout for the grand prize. It is hard to guess whethâ€" er the children being questioned or their parents waiting to hear them give their answers will be the most excited over this novel book proâ€" gram. The Fair will open Monâ€" day morning, Nov. 27, and continue all week under the chairmanship of Mrs. David Suttle.
