Greenslade. Illinois State Normal university dismissed their classes last Friday for the Christmas holidays so Roseâ€" mary P. Holm was home the first of the week for her vacation. The daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wichman will also be home for the holidays; Miriam Wichman got home last Wednesday from Frances Shimâ€" er college and her sister Joan reâ€" turned home this week Wednesday from Oberlin college. Also from Oberlin college is Audrey Prindle who returned home yesterday. Paul W. Haskins, who was pledged Chi Psi recently at Cornell university, Ithacs, N.Y., got home Wednesday for the holidays. The Thomas Creigh family will be all assembled for the holidays when Virginia returns from Vassar college and John leaves his business in Minneapolis. Joan Pier returned home yesterday from DePauw and her brother, Art returned the same day from Purdue. Don Nichols is expected home Friday from his studies at Hamilton college, New York. Elise Fleager, a senior at De Pauw university and Georgialou Fleager a junior at Purdue returned home the middle of the week but their sister, Molly a freshman at Mills college will stay in the West for the holidays, visiting relatives in San Francisco. At a small dinner party on Satgrâ€" day evening Frank A. Miller of Ridgelee road, announced the enâ€" gagement of his daughter, Grace, to A. Gerald Wilson of Evanston. Miss Miller is a graduate of Wardâ€" Belmont college and of the Univerâ€" sity of Illinois. Her fiance, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Wilson of Canton, III., was graduated from Knox college and from the Univerâ€" sity of Illinois. The wedding will take place in the early spring.
