2,000 Town Folk to Be Featured in selves on the screen when the Highâ€" wood Lions club presents the moâ€" tion picture, "We‘re in the Movies," on June 6 and 7 at the Oak Terrace school auditorium. Leading roles in the picture will be played by Helen Doland, Peter Trucano, George Rich, Adam Bernardi, Ambrose Cantagalâ€" lo, Louise Leonardi, Ernest Santi, and Johnny Duchane, Such sites as the city hall, post office, and churches will be shown. Most of the business places in Highâ€" wood and vicinity have cooperated with the committee to make the moâ€" tion picture a success. A number of action shots have been taken such as: a fire run by the Highwood Fire Department, the Highland Parkâ€" Highwood Drum and Bugle Corps on parade, children being dismissed from school, and activities of variâ€" ous organizations. Many may be taken by surprise when they see themselves in the movies, as the cameramen have been filming people walking down the streets, going in and out of differâ€" ent stores, coming from church on Sunday morning, or arriving home. The picture will be a full length feature, largely in technicolor, and local scenes will all be built around the main plot.
