GLADYS UDELL, Society Editor 3eMe 3“/96 0/ fAe 30wh MORRISâ€"LAUTZENHEISER MARRIAGE SATURDAY On Saturday afternoon Miss Elizâ€" abeth Morris became the bride of Mr. Robert Lautzenheiser in a cerâ€" emony performed in Trinity Episâ€" copal church by the Rev. Christoph The bride‘s gown was of white mousseline de soie, sprinkled with brilliants and she wore a veil of Brussels lace held by orange blosâ€" soms. The latter had been worn by her grandmother, Miss Annie Marâ€" <y, at her marriage to Dr. Frank H, Davis. The bride‘s bouquet was of white roses bordered with blue delphinium. Because the bride had chosen to be married on her paterâ€" nal grandmother‘s birthday she wore the latter‘s engagement ring. Miss Mary Morris, who served her sister as maid of honor, wore yellow net and carried white daisies. The bridesmaids, the Misses Jane and Ann Morris and Virginia Lautâ€" zenheiser, wore dresses of pastel shades of net and carried garden flowers. The best man was Mr. Julian Crabbe of Dayton, Ohio, and the ushers were Mr. Keith Sbay, Mr. Richard Glidden and Mr. Stuart Smith. The impressive church service was enriched by the singing of the girl choir of which the bride was a member. Mr. and Mrs. Lautzenheiser left amid the usual shower of rice, the bride adroitly shielding herself with an open umbrella. Out of town guests included the father and brothers of the groom and their wives and children from Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis of Detroit, Dr. and Mirs. Nathan Davis of Winnetka, and Mrs. John Dorr Bradley of Lake Forest. The two young people met each other at the University of Washingâ€" ton where both did graduate work. The bride was granted her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestâ€" ern university, and the bridegroom is a graduate of Ohio State univerâ€" sity where he is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, honorary fraternity. The bride is a great granddaughâ€" ter of Dr. N. S. Davis, and on her father‘s side she is descended from Judge Charles Morris, prominent in the early history of Nova Scotia. Mr. Lautzenheiser is a descendent of a Revolutionary war captain and is also related to the well known Firestone family. MILLSâ€"GOSLING ANNOUNCEMENT The young couple will make their home in Alkron, Ohio, where Mr. Lautzenheiser is associated with the United States Weather Bureau. The approaching marriage of their daughter Ann to Robert Alexâ€" ander Gosling is being announced by Mr. and Mrs. A. Miss Flinn chose this church for her wedding after having witnessed the marriage of one of her friends in this quaint little edifice to which the familiar old hymn "The Little Brown Church in the Vale" was dedicated, and has been sung by three generations.
