Nessa, 66, of Long Lake, a WPA worker, died a few minutes later in the Fort Sheridan hospital. Worker Fatally Injured In Fall Off Fort Scaffold Fellow employes testified at an inquest that Nessa, a carpenter, was preparing to quit work at 4 p.m. on the gunâ€"carriage garage now under construction when he lost his balâ€" ance and plunged to the ground.
