Mr. Keith Drake of Glencoe will read a surrealist poem, Patriâ€" cia Sloan of Chicago will present a group of thoughtful poems, Mrs. Cyril Bernd of Wilmette will also be in the poetâ€"contributor group. Her children have provided Mrs. Ellsworth‘ Jones of Winnetka with the inspiration for the verses she will read. A clever verse takeâ€"off "Rissiniâ€"Roweni" will be dramaâ€" tized by Mrs. George Bowden of Ravinia. The mysterious author of "God at the Cross Roads," may read a chapâ€" ter from this novel Thursday mornâ€" ing. If she is still not willing to reâ€" veal her identity Mrs. Bennett will read some excerpts. Another novel ‘‘Write Me As One" which has been adding zest to the class sessions will have a chapter presented by its hardâ€"working author, Mrs. John Lemmon of Highland Park. N. S. WRITING GROUP CLOSE SPRING TERM ON THURSDAY, MAY 8 A Manuscript Morning on Thursâ€" day, May 8, to which the North Shore Creative Writing group are inviting their friends will close the spring term. Gardening and other activities will fill recess time until the Writers‘ Conference when this group will be one of the cooperating hostesses.
