P. Lundy, of Chicago, were parked in front of her home, 6145 Vine avenue, early Tuesday, when two armed bandits opened the car door saying "This is a holdup." ‘The young men, deâ€" scribed as about "25, tall and thin," flourished guns. They obtained $121.75 from the couple. The Waukegan Subordinate lodge third degree team gave a drill demâ€" onstration. The district officers who presided were Mrs. Eleanor Bock, president; Mrs. Florence Parkhurst, viceâ€"presâ€" ident; Mrs. Gladys Bristol, warden; Miss Mildred Lyle, secretary; Mrs. Belle Schlosser, assistant secretary; Mrs. Frieda ‘Thompson, treasurer; and past junior president, Mrs. Carâ€" olyn Horan. Lincoln. The members of the Libâ€" ertyville lodge conducted memorial services. State officers who attendâ€" ed the business meeting were: presâ€" ident, Mrs. Mabel Quayle; viceâ€" president, Mrs.. HIGH SCHOOL Mrs. Reiter through nine years of invalidism showed a strength of character and certainly of faith that was very inspiring to those who visâ€" ited her during her sickness, and will always be remembered by those who knew her as a truly great person. Mrs. Reiter was a lifeâ€" long memâ€" ber of Trinity parish where she sang in the choir as a girl and taught a class in the church school. She was also interested in the Junâ€" ior activities of the Daughters of the American Revolution. On Sunday, May 11, Patricia Hoffman Reiter died in a Chicago hospital after a nine years ‘illness. She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Hoffman, former resiâ€" dents of Highland Park, and is surâ€" vived by her husband, Emil; a son, John; a daughter, Mary Louise; and two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe MacLean and Mrs. Faith Baird.
