‘The Fall Flower Show of the Men‘s Garden Club of Vills Park will be held for the fifth time this year on September 6, 7, 8, in the gymnasium of the Ardmore School, Harvard and School Streets, Villa Park. This is the largest Men‘s Garâ€" den Club in the country, having 185 members. All amateur gardeners are corâ€" dially invited to participate. Entries must be set up by 11 o‘clock, Satâ€" urday, September 6. There are no charges. Four cups, five medals, certificates, and prizes in the form of plants will be awarded. To the visitor this flower show ofâ€" fers the unique opportunity to see and note fo rhis owne use the variâ€" eties of flowers, which can be sucâ€" cessfully grown outdoors in the small home garden. For the most part the flowers are grown on a single lot and cultivated over the week end. Admission to the show is free. Among the 21 judges of this Flowâ€" er Show are Mrs. J. R. Fitting rooms are dayâ€"lighted, the Fur show room is flooded with north light from a tall window at the front of the shop, the second floor Salon is bright with light from tall, graceful windows veiled with filmy hangings. Even the main floor is partially lighted from without, through two of the four display windows across the front. The interior of the shop, particuâ€" larly the main floor walls, cabiâ€" mets, the Georgian staircase, is a masterpiece of fine woodworking.
