The aims of the club are lhree-fold.i First is the wish to assure our boys in the armed forces of our neverâ€"failâ€" ing loyalty and support. Another purâ€" pose is to bring together those bound by a strong personal tieâ€"our interest in these boys. And finally is the deâ€" sire to assist the community in such projects as may promote general welâ€" fare in these critical times. ‘The members of the Service Men‘s Mother‘s Club of Highland . Park, Highwood and Deerfield voted on Wednesday, April 8 to add an assoâ€" clate membership to the organization. There has been a growing demand for such a branch, and the wives and other adult fenminine relatives of local Service Mother‘s Cilub To Take Associate Members service men may now affiliate themâ€" selves with the club. The club meets on the second Wedâ€" nesday of each month at the local YWCA building at 2 p. m. The reguâ€" lar meeting is followed by a program, and at every third meeting tea is served. The entertainment on Wedâ€" nesday was furnished by Mrs. Fred Giesecke, accomplished Highland Park pianist, who played several brilliant selections, and by Steve Meyer and Harold Schimmelfeng, who gave huâ€" morous readings and clever impersonâ€" ations. Both boys are students at the Highland Park High school.
