_ Thursday, July 12, 1951 Norge Summer Ski Meet For almost fifty years, Chiâ€" cagoland ski fans have been thrilâ€" led by the performances of the Flying Daredevils who compete in the Norge Ski Club‘s annual January Ski tournament. Now, however, something new has been added, a sort of "Man bites Dog" twist, as Norge Officials are preâ€" paring the first summer ski meet ever to be held in Chicago land. The meet will be held July 22 on the club‘s grounds in Fox Rivâ€" er Grove, III., on a new hill, es tournaments, in which leaps of 100 fet or more are expected. The hill will first be covered with straw and then with 200 tons of articifial snoww.
