The bride is the youngest daughter of Henry Wegener, who last year disposed of his home on Featl street and moved back to Humphrey, from whence he came to this village a few years prior. During her residence in this village she was for a time employed at the Vycital hardware store, where thru her pleasing and courteous manner she won the admiration of a large number of the people of this community, among the younger set as well as the older folks.' The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Blake, highly respected citizens of this village and whose home is on Green street. He was born and raised near this village and has always claimed this as his home. Conway, came in for higfi honors. The team's reward was cash pri£e of $40.00. - The Rexalls, captained by Walter Vogt, finished second and pulled down cash prize of $30.00, while the Buicks, headed by Martin B. Schmitt, tame in for third money, $20.00. Math. B. Laures came in for individual high score honors of the teason, his best game being rolled for total of 254. For his efforts he reteivwd a cash prize of $5.00. For 'the three highest games: First, cash prize of $7.50, won by the Rexalls, score 2608; second, cash prize of $5.00, won by Fords, score 2601. A prifce was also awarded to the team rolling the best game during the season. This $5.00 went to the Fords, fvho succeeded in piling up a total of $91 pins. The second high went to the Crowns, also a $5.00 priz^, score 914. The individual high score for three games was made by Math. B. Laures, who hung up a total of 606. He received a cash prize of $5.00. Since the close of the league season the alleys are being kept quite busy by tie ladies, who, during the past winter, have taken very kindly to the sport. In fact, a few real good lady bowlers have been developed during that time.
