Summer resorters owning homes at Third Lake, Lake county, are «nce more very angered over a bad odor which again exists. It seems that this nuisance appears at that place every once in a while and so incensed have some of the resorters become that they have threatened to boycott the merchants of Grayslake, their trading center. Mistaking weeds underneath the water's Burface for the bottom of the lake, Peter Keegan, aged about seven years and only son of Mr. and Mrs. Keegan of Chicago, lost his life by drowning in Round lake on Sept. 7. The lad, in company with a girl companion about his own age, were rowing on the lake at the time of the fr.tality. On account of the weeds it looked to the lad as if the water was not deeper than about eighteen inches. Just before leaving the boat he had coaxed the girl to jump into the water also, but fortunately for her she failed to listen to him. After dis appearing thru the weeds the unfor tunate boy never returned to the surface, his body undoubtedly becoming: entangled in the weeds.
