The animal ran from the pasture toward the pony he was ridins throwing Earl from the pony's back and knocking the pony down. Earl ma«ie a get-away under a barbed wire fence. The pony was scratched con siderably on one of its sides. ..." ." Roy Hobart had a similar expei ience with a bull which had been turned out of the barn to get a, drink. It came back "all fight but when it saw the door open at the other end of the barn, ran toward it. Ray picked up a pitch fork with which to defend himself, but the bull lowered h:s head and came toward him. Ray took to hi heels and cleared a woven wire fenc with two barbed wires on top, at on* bound.
