The incident took place when Mrs. Johnson, mistaking the skunk for a dog, started to drive the animal from a chicken yard and was attacked and bitten on Qie hand. The wound was not considered as ser ous at first, but when the injnry failed to heal up as It should a consoltation of doctors was held, with the result that it was found that the victim had developed hydrophobia.
