The evening was spent in dancing at Kempfet's halL WBHtLY EXCHANGE mm Two officials of the state highway department were in Crystal Lake recently making an investigation of the parking fee of $1.00 which non-residents of the park district are charged for parking their cars at the beach on Sundays. The officials came as result of a com^iaint ?nsde bv a Rockford man whose name they did not divulge. After looking into the Situation the officials declared that the park board is entirely justified in charging motorists who do not reside in the park district a parking fee. * John C. Rhenwald caught a blue catfish which weighed seven pounds and measured 26 inches long last Thursday afternoon in Crystal Lake. The fish is said to be the only one of its kind ever taken out'of that lake.
