Margaret Pfannpiutill Mrs. Margaret Pfannenstill, aged 75, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Standtfield, of Round Lake, Monday, September 21. Funeral services were held in St. Joseph's church of Round Lake, Thursday, September 24, at 9 o'clock, with Rev. Father Schmitt officiating. Interment in St. Peter's cemetery at Volo. The following acted as pallbearers: Frank Blake, George Wagner, Fred Kunz, Peter Weber, Peter Miller and John Stilling. Miss Margaret Diets, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Mary Dietev w&s born in Austria, April 30, 1850. In April 1872, she came to the United States, and four years later, on January 27, 1876, was married to Ferdinand Pfannenstill in Chicago. To this happy union were born eleven children, four of whom preceded their mother in death. For 43 years Mrs. Pfannenstill resided on a farm near McHenry even after her husband's death on May 7, 1909. For the last four years she had been quite ill, and three months ago went to Round Lake where she made her home with her. daughter, Mrs. Stadtfield. Deceased was a member of St Mary's church in this city, and a good practical Catholic. Although always busy with her many family cares, she found time to help others and was a true friend to everyone she knew. Her life was one made up entirely of deeds of generosity, kindness, and self-sacrifice. She is survived by seven children: Anna Richardson, Catherine Stadtfield, and Elizabeth Amann of Round Lake, Mary Pouliot, Madge Pfannenstill and John Pfannenstill of McHenry, and Frank Pfannenstill of Chicago. three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Miller and Mrs. Mary Hecht of Chicago, and Mrs Andrew Beck of Lake Villa, and one brother, John Diets of Austria. CARD OF THANKS We desire in this manner to thank friends and neighbors for sympathy and kindness shown us in our late bereavement.
