Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Heimer spent Christmas with relatives in Chicago. Miss Genevieve Knox of Elgin is spending her vacation at her .home here. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kirtcher are enjoying a few weeks at Hot Springs, Ark. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hunter have gone to California, where they will spend the winter. Leo Rothermel of Chicago spent Christmas in the home of his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Rothermel. Mir. and Mrs. Will Foote of Woodstock spent Christmas with their mother, Mrs. August Felt*. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Detrick spent the last of the week and Christinas with relatives at Jackson, Mich. Miss Gertrude Sattem of Springfield spent Christmas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Sattem. Walsh and family at Evanston. Miss Fern Bacon, who is taking a nurses' training course at the Waukegan hospital, spent Christmas at her home here. Mr. and Mrs. S. J.
