UTE DAIRY MAliKKTS. UTICA, N. Y., NOV. 25tll JSJ8. Upon the Utlea market Monday there wer».offered about 6,000 boxes from 70 factories. The average number of cheeses from each factory was small, not exceeding 85 boxes, and the cheeio offered was chiefly late October cheese. But three lots of Septembers were offered and these were taken upon pri vate terms. The4 sales very nearly closed out all the chiese to be ©ftered upon this market. At Little Falls on Monday business was light. Nearly all the small factor ies have closed, and the larger ones are making but two or three times a week. Some salesmen whose factories are closed, sold all their cheese to be de li rered as fast as cured. The market fthewed an improvement of i@$c over last week. Every day October chees« brought 13$@13|c and the finest 14c. November cheese went below 13c or brought that figure when sold with October make, Next Monday the board will dose for the season. Farm dairy, sales of 205 boxes, ten lots at llj@13c, as fellows: 55 at 11 Jc; 65 at 12C4 37 at 12|c ; 58 at 13c. The back-bone of the market lies in the choicest New York State dairies entire at 30(231 c to home trade, and in good sound substantial early make State dairies at 25c to English export trade. Fresh make Western "mill" butter and fresh rolls sell readily at 90@23c. There were sales of several Delaware and Chenango dairies, and of long choice Oneida county dairies en tire at 30@31c. We quote: Choice Chatauqim and Chattarugus county fall make at 31@32c; frc.<h ere.imery from the same sections at 3o@37;' State fir kins at 25@28c;-northern Welsh tubs at about the same figures. "They imagine if a man is able always to'*get the best of a bargain," no matter by what deceit and meanness be carries his point, that his prosperity fs assurd. This is a great mistake. Enduring prosperity cannot be found ed on cunuing and dishonesty. The tricky and deceitful man as sure to falj a victim, soon or late, to the influences -which are forever working against him. "His house is built upon the sand, and its foundation will be certain to give •way." Young people cannot give these truths too much weight. The future of the young man is safe who erchews every phase of double dealing dishonesty, and lays the foundation •TM* career in the enduring principles •fl *T*TJa£ting truth.
