Among these is a wine of the vintage of 1864, described as a " Sweet Union Port," but suggesting the Imperial Tokay more than any other European wine, and being wholly unlike any other wine of American growth. Its purity, age and mellowness are •emarltable, and both physicians and wine- fanciers have a special interest in it as the oldest native wine now accessible in any con­ siderable quantity.
