But this is only another trick of tlie Ring, who will hesitate at nothing to accomplish their ends and thwart the will of the people. EDITOR PLAIKDEALEK:--On Monday evening last our Blaine and Lo<;an Club attended tlie Republican Rally nt Nuuda, and they had a very pleasant time. The only drawback was that the streets were rather muddy for com fortable marching. But take it all in all i t was a grand success. Tlie supper was immense. Many thanks are due to the ladies of Nuuda. It was an occa sion long to be remembered by these who took part In the demonstration. W. P. Benson and wife returned on Tuesdav of last week from their Ne­ braska and Iowa visit. Ftank Pingry took possession of tlie Algonqulr. Hotel on Wednesday of last week. Mr. Sinne|t moving out. On Wodnesday evening of last week our Blaine and Logan club attended the Republican Rally at Woodstock, the last Rally In McHenry County. All the clubs In the County were cordlallf invited.
