You will hear some business men say, "I have beea in business here for many years, and if any one wants anything in my line they know where to find me." V / MARRIED.--November 25th, 1891, at 'the home of the bride's parents, in Wood stock, by Rev. H. Slade, William E Whiting, of McHenry, and Nona D. sGuerin, of Woodstock. A very pleasant gathering was that which witnessed the joining together of two lives as one. It seemed to be the im pression of all who came to enjoy it with a zest, that each had gained a prize. They will make their entrance upon life with an abundance of good cheer, and wishes for their success and happiness, and may the new relation now formed by them be stainless and unbroken through all the circling years that shall be theirs, Blessings on them. H. S L. E. BENNETT, Photographer, of this village, has just received a Patent on a device called a "Tripod Clamp," which cannot fail to be a great benefit to pho tographers, and ohe which, after they have once seen they will not know how to get along without. It is a device for fastening the Camera to the Tripod, and accomplishes with three motions of the hand, the same as it takes thirty motions to do in the old way. It is not an ex pensive device, and thus it.will be seen that the time saved even for a person doing only a small business will in a very short time pay for the improvement. Mr Bennett invented this improvement sev e-al years ago, and has been using it in his business, and finally concluded to get it patented, which he bad no trouble in doing. No notice which we can give this labor-saving invention will half do it justice. It must be seen in actual work to be appreciated. By calling at Mr, Bennett's Gallery he will be glad to show it, and explain its great usefulness. He will undoubtedly make some arrange ments soon to get them manufactured and put upon the market. STNBAD'S welcome was a royal one on its return from its long western tour, and during the past week there has not been a performance of the big spectacle which has not drawn an audience which filled the Chicago Opera House to the doors. The week just past makes the 16th dur ing which Sinbad has peen presented in Chicago, and the indications now are that the three following weeks of its run bere will be quite as extraordinary from a financial stand point as the one just ended. The piece throughout is bright and attractive as ever, and the several new songs and features which have re cently been introduced all appear to be popular. Particularly is this so in re gard to the quartette between Louise Eissing. Ida Mulle, Henry Norman and Speneer Gracey, entitled "The Serenade." Foy's whimsical ditty with pantomimic accompaniments, "There Are Moments When One Wants to be Alone" is exceed ingly clever and amusing. Henry Norman also has a new song entitled "Joyful, Joyful," which is accompanied by bis marine band. Dan Hart for the first time has a slight opportunity to exhibit his talents in a song which accompanies his entrance, entitled "I Haven't Got It Now." Foy's new song "In A Minute" is also very catchy, but perhaps the most attractive of the new features is the pas de deux done by Fraulien Martha Irmler and Fraulein Henrietta Rosche, in the 'winter ballot scene. The dance is cos tumed magnificently and is gracefully executed. After the present run of Sin- bad will not again be seen in Chicago, as it goes east to fill engagements for the remainder of the winter season. TEN FEB CENT DISCOUNT SAXE. BL VNKETS AND UNDERWEAR.
