Misses Jennie Walton, Abbie Con­ verse and Jason Walton returned from Downer's Grove Saturday evening. A. J. Raymond and family moved to West McHenry this week. Harry Nicholls has rented the Raymond farm. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Nicholls arrived home from Cbibago Wednesday evening Dec. 26. In the evening a large number of Alfred's friends gave him a surprise party. All report a fine time. Mrs. Will Moore with her little son and daughter are visiting Mrs. Moore's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Graves at Fish Lake. Mrs. Moore is from Texas and witnessed the great cyclone there. Died--At his home near Big Hollow Dec. 28, 1900, Hugh Stephenson, aged 86 years. He leaves a widow and four children, three daughters and one son to mourn his loss. Rev.
