The time is not far distant when the voters will meet to elect one or more directors whose business it will be to employ as good an instructor as means and their good judgment will admit of. The people are taxed and money used to have the children educated, and, without a doubt, the board of directors will see to it that the children get the benefit of the money collected for school purposes. The inajoritv of the people will say, Let us have a male instructor, one who will govern, and not be gov erned by his pupils. It is partly the directors'business to see that the chil dren are rightly educated, as the major ity are in such circumstances financially that their days in the school room will not be many. We have young boys here at the age of 15 or 16, who have quit school and cannot read the Roman figures. Can any one of the board of directors say they have visited the school any time within the past twelve months, or have you all been there? We hope so. Trial Snbaerlptlona.
