As one would expect of a great metro* v tug (he riu'itities of The Chicago Record-Herald, that pa per always covers the markets and finan cial and commercial intelligence on a scale of exceptional fullness, covering two entire pages of each issue. The quotations on live stock, grain and pro visions, stocks and bonds, and in fact ever)' coiinnercia! and financial market in which the tw.inlo r»f *V>« Wnr^mnof jtre interested, are thoroughly complete i&nd satisfactory. Special cables tell the' tale of finance abroad. The "Speculative Gossip," "Wail Street Talks" and "LaSalle Street Notes" are features of The Rec ord-Herald market page that interest speculators from the Pacific to the At lantic coast. They tell of «$hp,„*s»d8r currents in the grain and security mar kets. They relate personal gossip of the pits, in its way as important as the humdrum and routine part of the day's story of speculation. The Wall Street letter of John Chambers summarizes the daily history of Gotham's' money market in a most entertaining and in structive fashion.
