We think of Dyspepsia, Heartburn, and In digestion &g real diseases, yet they are symptoms only of a certain specific Nerve sickness--hothing else. It was this fact that first correctly led Dr. Shoop In the creation of that now very popular Stomach Remedy--Dr. Shoop's Restorative. Going direct to the stomach nerves, alone brought that success and favor to Dr. Shoop and his Restorative. Y., writes: "I had kidney disease for many years and had b««n treated by physicians for twelve years; had taken a well known kidney medicine and other remedies that were recommended, but got no relief until I began using Foley's Kidney Cure. The first half bottle relieved me and four bottles have cured me of this terrible disease. Before I began taking Foley's Kidney Cure I had to make water about every fifteen minutes, day and night, and passed a brick-dust substance, and sometimes a slimy substance. I believe I would have died if I had not taken Foley's Kidney Cure." G. W. Bealey. We are now in a position to furnish those who wish it with Brick Ice Cream which we make ourselves. William E Curtis, the famous corre spondent of the Chicago Record-Herald, writes a two-column letter for bis paper every day in the year without intermis sion. His powers of sustained work are as great a marvel as his faculty of al- ways making his matter interesting. Probably no other newspaper corre spondent in the country is read so reg ularly and eagerly by so many thousands of men and women as Mr. Curtis. Mr. Curtis has traveled several times around the world, visiting every country nnrfev the sun, and writing a larger number of brilliant and interesting letters of travel than were ever before produced by a single hanu. Many of these have later been reprinted in book form. One of his latest expeditions for the Record- Herald was thru Mexico, resulting in series of letters as entertaining as those he wrote a few years ago from India, Turkey and the Holy Land. His forthcoming letters from Russia, Ire land and Germany will rival in impor tance and interest any of his previous contributions. Beginning bis career in Chicago as a reporter in 1872, Mr. Cnr tis rapidly rose to be managing editor. He resigned that position to accept a government appointment as secretary of the South American commission. So brilliantly did he perform the duties of this office that James Q. Blaine, secre tary of state, placed him at the head of the Bureau of American Republics. At the world's fair in Chicago he distin guished himself as the executive head of the Latin-American department. He is a member of every learned society in Washington and of many in Europe. It is not strange that the Record-Herald prints Mr. Curtis' letter every day in the first column of the front page, and that nothing but a California earthquake can displace it from that station of honor. ni Misery Mhat sick women endure,1 j in the back* hips, legs, etc., the headaches, waist arid side pains, falling, feelings, nervousness, ir regular periods and other suffering can be relievedj or cured, as were thosei of Mrs* JLucy Rowe, of' jGinord, Hi., &y taking gg CARDUI WOMAN'S RELIEF WINE OF She writes: "For 4 years I suf- 1 feted terrible pains in my side,, from female trouble. Winej I of Cardui cared them. They] were better before I finished one bottle# The doctor j wanted to operate on me, but II took Cardui instead, andi I now I am nearly well.wl Cardui is a cure few dis-1 orders of the womanly func tions. "I have fired the walking-stick I've carried over 40 years, on account of a sore that resisted every kind of treat ment, until I tried Bucklen's Arnica Salve; that has heal»d the sore and made me a happv man," writes John Garrett, of North Mills, N. C. Guaranteed for Piles, Burns, etc., by N. H. Petesch, F. Masquelet, McHenry, G. W. Besley, Remarkable Rescue. That truth is stranger than fiction has once more been demonstrated in the little town of Fedora, Tenn., the resi dence of C. V. Pepper. He writes: was in bed, entirely disabled with hem orrhages of the lungs and throat. Doc tors failed to help me, and all hope had fled when I began taking Dr. King's New Discovery. Then instant relief came. The coughing soon ceased, the bleeding diminished rapidly, and in three weeks I was able to go to work." Guaranteed cure for coughs and colds. 50c and $1.00 at N. H.
