Miss Catherine Knox is enjoying her vacation at her home, having closed with a picnic near the school at Barre- ville on last Thursday. Miss Margaret Sutton visited friends in Elgin the first of the week and at­ tended a house party at Miss Eliza­ beth Morrissey's in Dundee. Miss Florence Welch closed her school in Griswold Lake district last Thursday. She entertained he* pupils anu a few iriends at a picnic at the Lake. Miss Margaret Sutton's school, Em­ erald Park, closed Tuesday with a pleasant picnic on the river bank. Racing, bathing, fishing and boating were indulged in.
