To trait and arrest the crooks, who have cost the company thousands of dollars thru wire thievery, the Chica go Telephone company has recently planned to have blood hounds stationed at various point# in the district sur rounding Chicago. A system of sig nals will enable operators to disoover loss of wire almost as soon as the thieves begin operations. High pow«p automobiles will hurry the dogs to the point from which the theft is reported aod it is believed that in this way there will be numerous arrests.
