How they returned--well, ask the young ladies. They certainly re port a good time. Wilbur Levey, while doing repair work on one of Mrs. O. In the evening an appropriate sermon will be delivered by the pastor. THE RECKLESS AUTO DRIVER. This is the time of the year when the reckless auto driver is getting in his work and unless the automobile law is strictly enforced accidents will be more numerous than ever this sea son. The machines are becoming more numerous each year and right now the machines are getting into the hands of reckless drivers. In many of the villages and cities in this state the law governing fehe driving of automo biles is being rigidly enforced and the McHenry officials should fall in line. A few accidents have already occurred in and near this village. While most of these accidents and probably all of them were unavoidable, we have seen some very reckless driving on our main thorofares on more than one occasion this year. Those who have been in the habit of making a speed way of our streets should be given a due warning and if the practice is not stopped the law should be applied. BINOWOOD. This is a question that has been heard more than once during the past month. McHenry has not held a celebration in some years and there are a few who believe that the day should be celebrated here the coming Fourth. It rests entirely with the business men. If they want a cel ebration they surely will see that our people have one. During the past few years the business men have said no to the question, their claim being that they would rather close up their re spective places of business and enjoy the day themselves than hold a cele bration and keep their places open. Whether or not the businessmen want a celebration this year remains to be seen. ___ Early Ohio and Early Rose seed po tatoes at M. M. However, the making of a real home is second nature with most women and for that reason they should be consulted pretty freely about the plans for the house. When it comes to lumber we find the women are extremely keen on the satin finish and smooth surface stuff. Guess they know that this kind of lumber is going to save a heap of money in the actual cost of building because it won't need any planing or sand papering by the carpenter. We're strong on that very thing ourselves and the mills we buy of lay particu lar stress on the high grade qual ity, bright color and natural grain of their Finish, Flooring, Ceiling, Siding, Case, Base, etc. Come in and see this for your self. ••There's No Place Like Home" WILBUR LUMBER CO.
