COMMUNICATED Editor Plaindealer--1 congratulate you upon an article, "The German Side Of It, by Dr. Mueller. It is.disgust ing, especially for people who know the fact$, to read the lies and calumnies against the emperor and the people of Germany as published daily in our American press. When I see, in the letters received from my relatives, the good feeling of the German people to ward the American people and com pare the hatred of so many Germans, and no^ German Americans, against the German people and government, I only say to myself "Undank ist der welt John." I do not believe that it is right, even in the time of war, to tell lies against our neighl>ors, because it is wrong in itself and always a crime. We, as Americans, wish to tell the truth and we also wish to hear the truth. May God save \ those liars fn London. K. OSTENKOETTER.
