W. A. Cristy informs us that he hag already taken in about 12,500 bushels of cucumbers and his re ceipts daily are still large. CUMMINi Mr-Cummins was a candidate two - years ago, but was defeated by a narrow margin, his total of votes sur* , prising the "old line politicians." ' His ability as a campaign orator nil helped the Republican party to success in many campaigns and was one of the staunch supporters of Senator Sherman. When the clouds began to gather fae did not desert the Republican party, but stood firm and voted for President Taft. On account of his loyalty to the party he deserves the support of every true republican. Mr. Cummins has attracted the at- tehtionof the country as an Author in his book entitled "Lincoln, the Law yer," which has brought him into, prominence both in state and bation. A son of a Mexican soldier, he is a self-made man, has been in turn a farmer's boy, country school teacher, newspaper reporter, cashier of a bank, assistant Attorney-General, a success ful lawyer, and a loyal republican from „ boyhood. He has been intimately ac quainted with every Governor and United states Senator since the days * of John A Logan, who by the way complimented Mr. Cummins for his part in the election of General Logan tJ the United States Senate in his memorable contest in 1485. Endorses full suffrage for women, and favors the Budget System of Ap propriations, the abolition of the 'Pork Barrel," a Protective Tariff, Preparedness and the "Rural System of Credits" to aid the Farmers.
