Mrs. Lilah Fisher spent the 'weekend at the East Side Hotel. Mrs. Ida Freeman, formerly Miss Ida Ladd of Wauconda, died Sunday at her home in Hebron, Illinois after an illnes of but one hour following a stroke of apoplexy while attending church services. She was forty-eight years old at the time of her death. Mrs. Harriet Ruggles, one of Wauconda's eldest and most highly respected citizens, passed away shortly after noon Monday after a lingering illness. She was eighty-three years old. Lake Cotfnty is to pay a bounty of twenty-five cents on -all groundhogs killed. The county is overrun with them and they damage the farmers' crops.
