" Eighty-two Years Old A party of relatives and friends surprised Joe Justen at his home on Green street Thursday evening in honor of« his eighty-second birthday anniversary. Thirty-six guests were present to enjoy the evening, which was spent in cards, with prizes being awarded to Mrs. Nick Justen, Mrs. Will Justen, Mrs. Jacob F. Justen and Joe Justen- Refreshments were served at the close of the evening. Mr. Justen is remarkably well and active, considering his age and to see him no one would believe that he has experienced eighty-two years of life. John Koerber was taken to St- Theresa's hospital, Waukegan, last Wednesday, where he was operated upon immediately for appendicitis. Mrs. Catherine Schneider is confined to her home with injuries received when she fell on the stairs. Mrs. Edmund Knox is improving ^slowly from injuries received in a fall out is still confined to her bed. Mrs. George B. Frisby is recovering slowly from her recent operation at St. Anthony's hospital, Chicago.
