The machine is made by the International Harvester Co. at Dayton, Ohio, and looks like a good sensible one. Mr. Hanly is now in a pofsition to take good care of all the busihess that may come his way. G. W, Besley and family are now nicely settled in the house recently vacated by Mr. and Mrs. John Evanson. George R. Gilbert has resigned his position as baggageman at the depot. His place has already been filled by Arvil Yager. WILMETTE COUPLE INJURED IN AUTO ACCIDENT MONDAY An automobile accident, which occurred about six o'clock Monday morning on Route 20, one mile east of McHenry, near the Nick Weingart residence, nearly resulted in two fatalities. Paul Gullickson, 19, of 908 Greenwood avenue, Wilmette, 111., suffered a crushed leg and a hole in back of head. Bis companion, Rosemary Kline, 18, also of Wilmette, 780 Linden avenue, was severely cut about the neck near the jugular vein, and also suffered a crushed chest. O'Connell, an excutive of Hibbard, Spencer & Bartlett, were held Wednesday at 10 a. m., in St. Mary's church, Evanston, with burial in All Saints cemetry. * * Mr. O'Connell lived at 232 Lee st^ Evanston, and had resided in the suburb for more than fvfty years. He died Sunday of pneumonia at Rochester, Minn. He was the son of the late Timothy O'Connell, an Evanston justice of the peace.
