Ringwood School Notes Don't forget to hear the McHenry District School Concert, Friday evening, May 5, at the McHenry High school. Upper Grades are working on McHenry Township Maps this week, indicating all creeks, rivers, towns, railroads and highways. Schools and churches are being put on the maps also, to acquaint all with places and the immediate geography of the territory in which they live. Some of us have started the McHenry County Maps, learning the townships, location of towns, railroads and highways. Any material relating to McHenry County history, relics, keepsakes, etc., which represent an earlier time in our history would be appreciated by loan. We will be very careful and return what you have for us to see. Upper Room have school Saturday, April 29, which was a make-up day for a day our teacher lost last winter because of a broken arm. All grades will practice again this Friday morning, May 5, at the high school auditorium for the concert. A total of eight cars are needed to take the eight grades there and back. Parents are especially invited to come to the Rural School Rally day, Friday afternoon, May 19, when twelve rural schools will have a picnic dinner, contests and a track meet.
