A discussion was also conducted concerning the state park which is to be constructed at the dam south of McHenry. A demonstration on "Fitting your Pattern and Cutting Material" was given by Lorraine Erber. Margaret Walsh gave a talk on "Beginning Steps in Making Your Dress." Mildred Fischer gave a demonstration on "Making Your Own Toothpaste." Most of the girls finished cutting out their dresses, which are to be exhibited in the style review at the County Achievement Day in August, upon the completion of the dresses. Games and group singing comprised a portion of the social program, in addition to a tonette duet by Ruth Lindsay and Lorraine Erber.
