The injured man, John F. Padgett, was driving toward McHenry when his car and one driven by John M. Freund of Johnsburg struck in a headen collision. Padgett was picked up by a passing motorist and brought to McHenry where he was treated by a loeal doctor. He received lacerations about the face and bruises.
