Considerable of the work ot administering the act will tall upon the County. The County Board will let the contracts and audit ail invoices, payroll and contract payments. The act provides that the Superintendent 01 Highways in co-operation with the Highway Commissioner shall prepare plans for improvements, and with the approval of the County Board may empioy such assistance as is necessary to carry out the act and 4% of the State funos can be used tor this purpose. We contacted Lester Swain, a former employee of the County Hlguway Department, who desired to return to his former job, but came tc no conclusion as he is asking for a considerable raise in wages. Additional filing cabinets and a drafting table and supplies will be necessary. The State's Attorney estimated the cost of a title search at about $125.00. It was thereupon regularly moved by Supr. Kuecker and duly seconded by Supr. Wittmus that the liands and Lots. He then made a request that the bounty be Increased from $3.jt) to $10.00 per lox. Richard Hutchinson of Chemung Township, a member of the delegation, also spoke in this regard. A general uiscusslon was then had coii-ernin# said matter. The Chairman, John E. Harrison, stated that he perhr.ps had killed more foxes in his time than all of the members of the Bpard put together and that he had hunted them for over 60 years.
