Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hannig had as weekend guests, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Jungers of Chicago. Jimmy has recently received his discharge after serving four years with the army medical corps. The Vic Jacobson home has been sold this week. We hope to give you the name of the new owaer next week. Not bo many months ago we were happy to welcome Willard Kiddelsen home from service with the navy and Ray. Nelson of the army. It seems like this civilian life just didnt agree with these two oversees heroes. Willard Kiddelsen re-enlisted in the navy and left for duty at Glen view last Monday, while Ray Nelson bid his wife and two youngsters a fond farewell last Sunday to resume his duties in the U. Freund and Sons firm of McHenry, McCullom Lake feeidents will enjoy a bigger and cleaner spot for loafing and swimming than ever before, litis has been made possible by the generous contribution from Frank Howard. The Property Owners ass'n had added the balance necessary to cover the total cost of the project. The only problem that confronts the property owners is how to impress the few inconsiderate individuals who enjoy the pleasures of our beach that the signs posted at the entrances express the wishes of the majority of the residents.
