The only little girl of this week's report is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Mitchell of Indian Ridge. Patricia Catherine Seibel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Seibel, arrived on May 12 at the Woodstock hospital. The Seibels reside in Woodstock. Lyle Stensrud spent last weekend with his family here. He has been working in North Dakota, where the family will move as soon as school Is out. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Chase and son, Fred Chase IV, of Lansing, Mich., have been visiting her parents in McHenry and also visiting friends in Wonder Lake. The Chases were residents here while Mr. Chase was employed by the Edwal Chemical Co. at Ringwood. Marilyn Stromstedt gave a talk on makeup for teenagers and there was general discussion about a local achievement day and a project to make money for 4-H Town and the junior fair. The Handy Helpers 4-H Club will meet next Tuesday at the home of Cora Jean Henthorn^. Brownie Capers Brownie Scouts are reminded of the hike on Saturday which will leave from Milbrand'ts store at 1:30 p. m. A wiener roast, provided by Mrs. Malda Bastlen, will be held following the hike. Adults are reminded of the two big dinners this evening, one at Rolaine Grill, under the sponsorship of the Woodstock Doe Club, and the other at Greenwood church sponsored by the WSCS. The first dinner will have ham for entree and the second will have roast beef and barbeques. Poppy Day will be observed Saturday, May 28, by the American Legion. Also on thetr agenda for that day is a big dance.
