The canvassing committee reported the following results of votes cast at the special election: For Alderman hi Ward No. 1: Edward J. Thennes. 30 votes; Anton F. Blake. 30 votes. For Alderman in Ward No. 3, Leo G. Rothermel. Ill votes. For City Treasurer, Thomas F. Bolger, 131 votes; Ella Buss, 1 vote (write-in). Motion by Vycital, seconded by Anderson, that Edward J. Thennes, having received the highest number of votes for Alderman In Ward No. 1, be declared elected. Motion carried. Motion by Freund, seconded by Anderson, that Leo G.
