I see by the paper (Northern Illinois Farm Life) that Owen Richardson of Spring Grove, one of our young farmers In the county. won himself a ventilating fan for^his barn to keep the stink out by writing an essay on why he needed an automatic electric ventilating system. I I imagine his wife suggested he *wr* heeded it so when he comes to the house after milking he won't smell so much like a cow. He needs it also to keep down the temperature and humidity eo his cows are- not so restless at night and don't get so messy. The most important reason is that milk production will come up. A little magazine called. "Ideas", put out by L. A. Zahradka & Associates of Oconomowac. Why doesji't the Communist and the Socialist have a place in America? Because the eagle is our emblem. not \the oyster. "When (S^od made the oyster. He guaranteed nim absolute economic and social security. He built the oyster a house, a shell to protect him from his enemies. When hungry, the oyster simply opens his shell and food rushes in for him. "But when God made the eagle. He said, 'the blue sky is the limit Oo build your own house,' and the eagle built on the highest mountain craig, where storms threaten him everyday. For food he flies through miles of rain and snow and wind."--General Electric News. There is no such thing as an American Communist because he is interested only in strangling the eagle and selling^ others on the idea he can do it. He hasn't, however. made clear who is going, to build the oysterTs house and who is going^to feed nim.
