Too many are left unlocked for long periods of time. Last Friday four homes were entered and various items were stolen. At the fidwin Manaon home, there was $15, a traveling bag, shirts and gloves stolen. The Mansons have been away and the beds had been slept in and food had been prepared and eaten. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Elliott, a 45 caliber army automatic revolver was stolen and two checks totaling $145 were taken from the lake residence of Mr. and MrR. Kirke (Dick) Richards. The William Tanneys report $25 inJpennies and $7 in currency stolen £s well as cufflink,s an electric razor and a woman's purse-. Residents are asked to watch for any suspicious actions around any of the subdivisions or around any house where the householders are known to be away.
