The gang, consisting of twelve teenagers, gathered at the DeCicco residence, and a grand time was Aad by all. Games were played and a lovely luncheon, topped otf with two birthday cakes, was served. Sonny received some very lovely gifts from his friends. %< For the fifth Consecutive year, Henry Wojtas and Ivan Gustafaon, got together to celebrate their dual birthday. Highlighting the convention will be an address by State Treasurer William G. Stratton, Republican candidate for governor. U.S. Senator Everett M. Dirksen will introduce Stratton and the other candidates on the state Gustafson | ticket; John Chapman, of Springfield, for lieutenant governor; Sen. Charles F. Carpentier, of East Moltne, secretary of state; Rep. Orville E. Hodge of Granite City, auditor; Elmer Hoffman, of Wheaton, treasurer; ^nd Judge Latham Castle, for attorney general. Delegates will name candidates for University of Illinois trustees and select ten at-large delegates to the G.O.P. national convention in Chicago July 7.
