Later they Will be taken to the Legion bomb r ice cream. In the afternoon ere will be a baseball game on Vie Legion grounds. On the evening of July 5, at §:30 p.m. the new officers of the |*egion and its auxiliary will be Installed in ceremonies a£ the l^egion hall. The public is invited. The deceased was owner of the William Jones company, radio and television show producers, and was prominent in his field of endeavor. Survivors include the widow, Lilian, and one daughter, Sharon. His father, the Rev. George Jones, died in 1949 and his mother, Edith Jones, in 1948. The body rested at the Peter M. Justen funeral home until 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, when Rev. J. Elliott Corbett of the Community Methodist church officiated at last rites. Interment was in Woodland cemetery. Henry Freund A long illness ended early Saturday, June 28, for Henry Preund, 60, of 1531 N. Hickory street, I mm mm Waukegan, who died in St. Therese hospital. . The deceased was" born at Pistakee Bay, Johnsburg, Nov. 22, 1861, and lived his early life here. He retired last February from Great Lakes, where he had been employed as a cabinet maker for sixteen years. Mr. Freund was married to Dorothy Peters on Oct. 17, 1931, She survives, as does a son, Kenneth, a senior at Waukegan Township high school; six sisters, Mrs. John Phannenstill, Mrs. Henry Kennebeck, Mrs. Louis Stoffel and Mrs. Ambrose Schaefer, all of McHenry; Mrs. Don Mitchell of Waukegan and Mrs. Frank Spieker of Burlington, Wis.; a brother, John Freund, also of Burlington, Wis. Two sisters preceded him in death. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Freund of McHenry. Mr. Freund was a member of St. Anustasia's church, Waukegan, the Holy Name society of that church and the American Legion. He served overseas during World War I in the Army. Funeral services were held at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday frofiri St. Anastasia's church, followed by burial in St. Mary's cemetery, McHenry. Members of the Homer Dahringer American Legion post of Waukegan conducted graveside rites. Myrtle Temple Mrs. Myrtle Temple, 84, a native of McHenry, died unexpectedly last Thursday, evening, June 26, in Elgin. The deceased was born on a farm near McHenry, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kimball and when she was 22 years old the family moved to Lincoln, Nebr. In 1890 she was married to William Temple, y In 1942 Mrs. "Temple moved to Elgin to make her home with a friend but for the past three years had resided at the Old Thursday, Jnly 3, 1952 People's Home.
